Disclosure

As per the GS of USA, all accompanying parents MUST be registered members of the Girl Scouts with a valid current membership to accompany the girls during an event. Certain events may require an accompanying adult to show proof of GS background check, drivers license, and auto insurance. It is the sole discretion of the Troop Leaders of #80105 to mandate that accompanying parents be registered members of the GSUSA with additional mandated criteria depending on the event. For the safety and security of the troop as a whole, there will be no exceptions to this rule. However, in the event that it is specified by the vendor that family members/unregistered GS are welcome the accompanying unregistered GS adult may transport and accompany only their own child to/from the event. If another parent that is absent from such an event wishes to have such an unregistered GS attend and transport/accompany their child in lieu of themselves or the troop leaders, signed permission must be on file from that child's parent granting allowance for this unregistered member of the GS to transport/accompany their child. The accompanying unregistered GS adult assumes all liability for the scout and themselves during such transportations. Unregistered GS adults are not covered under insurances issued by the GSUSA during events/trips.
