Should medication be required during meeting times please see your troop leader to discuss further.

Step 3
**Additional Required Purchases
Uniforms
Uniforms are required in this troop. We have made every attempt to keep costs at a minimum for our families. For this reason, we ask that the girls purchase only the Brownie Vest and the required Brownie Numbers, Pins and Insignia . For girls ages 5 to 14, the unifying look includes wearing a vest for displaying official pins and awards, combined with their own solid white shirt and khaki pants or skirt/skort. Ms. Carianne is taking orders for our Brownie uniforms or you may purchase them through the link to the right.
Journey Books
To save the cost of pruchasing Journey books, we will provide copies of the pages that we may be using at the time.
Brownie Pins & Insignias
Your daughter will need for her brownie vest the Council ID Strip, Flag, Brownie Pin, Insignia Tab & Trefoil Pin, along with our Troop numbers. Please see Ms. Carianne if you are interested in having the Troop order your uniform.

Other Information
Council Cares
Finances should not be a barrier to a girls paticipation in Girl Scouting. GSCSNJ offers Council Cares (financial assistance) to members who would truly not be able to participate without this assisstance. Funds are limited, but are available for Membership Registration Fee Assistance, Finanical Assistance Scholarships, and Camperships. Please see your Troop Leader for more information and how to obtain an application or click on the link provided to the right.
DUES
$10 CASH will be collected per child the first meeting of each mont. These dues are to be used for meeting supplies, badges, and group expenses. We ask that dues please be kept current so that we may plan our little girls activities accordingly.
Snack Rotation & Birthdays
Please see our snack and drink list. You may also bring in a treat for the Troop for your child's birthday if you desire. Please communicate that to your Troop Leaders and we will adjust snack rotation accordingly.
Arts & Crafts -Supplies
If you haven't already done so, each family should purchase and bring in supplies in a large pencil case (sterilite box from the $1 store works well) with the child's name on it. These boxes will be held by the leader and brought to each meeting for the girls to use. Additional supplies needed for crafts that exceed our monthly dues will be requested as needed in the form of emails and flyers. There is no obligation to contribute but please remember this may affect the crafts the troops can accomplish.
First Aid
Your Troop Leader, Melissa Berrier is certified in adult, child, and infant CPR and Basic Life Support. She will be accompanying your daughter's to every event and meeting. Should she not be able to attend an alternate certified adult will be in attendance. If you are a registered Girl Scout member and would like to be added to our First Aid/CPR list, please see your Troop Leaders.
IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR!!!!
